Looking forward to a few days of rest and sipping some spiked eggnog with the family. But first we had just a little bit more work to do before the holidays.
Tab and I crisscrossed all over town to find a Home Depot that had the Nest Security cams we wanted in stock. We saved some money by buying a pack of two and using our 10% off coupon! We also upped our security system with motion sensors and some other top secret stuff sure to catch any would-be burglar in the act. If you can imagine one of those giant nets laid on the ground, covered with leaves, and tied to a tree branch ready to catch an unsuspecting roadrunner, you’re on the right path! We got all of our new security gadgets installed and working perfectly. Now, we get notified every time a cat jumps on the fence or someone even comes close to a window or door.
While the security system was installed a little more tile work was completed. We initially wanted dark charcoal colored grout in the kitchen, but the tile guys accidentally used the silver color grout. Big mistake, but luckily for us we liked the end result with the lighter color. Thankfully we didn’t have any yellow grout lying around.
It was just a half day today, but tiring nonetheless. We rewarded ourselves with another visit to Mother Bunch Brewery just up the street. Excellent food and beer brewed on premises.
Finally a few days with no work!
